Kelana means “to wander”.

We started in 2014 with one Annapurna group of nine friends-of-friends. Today a team of 14 in Singapore plans every trip, and our nine leaders still walk each route before you do.

  • Leaders trained in wilderness first aid, with a 24/7 duty line back in Singapore
  • The same local guide teams in every country since our first seasons
  • Groups of 12 or fewer, so homestays and small lodges can host us
  • Fixed prices in Singapore dollars, with no surprise fuel or tipping charges

Before you pack

Straight answers to what travellers ask us most. Anything else, WhatsApp us.

How fit do I need to be for a Kelana trek?

If you can walk 10,000 steps a day and climb 20 storeys of HDB stairs without stopping, you can join our Easy and Moderate trips. Every journey lists its daily walking hours and highest altitude. When you book, we send a free 6-week training plan and check in halfway.

How big are your groups?

Never more than 12 guests. Every trek has two leaders: a Kelana leader who flies with you from Singapore and a licensed local guide, plus porters or pack animals where the trail needs them. Small groups mean family homestays and small lodges can host us, and nobody waits long at a viewpoint.

What is included in the price?

Prices include return flights from Changi, stays, most meals, local transport, guides, park permits and entry fees such as Bhutan's Sustainable Development Fee. Travel insurance is not included and is required; it must cover trekking to the trip's highest altitude. Prices are fixed in Singapore dollars when you book, with no fuel surcharges.

Can you plan a private trip or honeymoon on our own dates?

Yes. Private trips start at two people, on any of our routes or a new one we design with you. You get a day-by-day plan and a fixed price within three working days. The S$150 design fee is credited to your booking, and honeymoons start from S$7,800 per couple.

Do you organise school and corporate trips?

Yes, for groups of 10 to 60. School learning journeys come with risk assessments, parent briefings, a 1:10 adult ratio and a 24/7 duty line. Corporate offsites include a meeting space, one invoice and one point of contact. Send us your dates and group size, and we reply with a proposal within five working days.

How do deposits and cancellations work?

A 30% deposit holds your place, and the balance is due 60 days before departure. Cancel more than 90 days out and we refund everything except non-refundable flights and permits. If we ever cancel a departure, you choose a full refund or a free move to another date.

Plan your journey

Every journey starts with a message. A trip designer in our Keong Saik studio replies within one working day.
