Is there a minimum order? No. We deliver orders of any size. Delivery is free above S$800 before GST and a flat S$45 below that, and collection from the Jalan Papan counter is always free. Counter orders are usually picked and ready to load in about 30 minutes, so phone ahead and drive straight to the bay.
What time is the cut-off for next-day delivery? 4 pm, Monday to Friday, for the next morning's run, and 12 noon on Saturday for Monday's run. Lorries leave Jalan Papan from 5:15 am and most drops are done by 9:30 am. Sites in the West can also get a same-day drop between 2 and 6 pm if the order is in by noon.
How do I open a trade account? Fill in the form on this page and choose “Open a trade account”. We ask for your ACRA business profile and two trade references, and approval usually takes two working days. Limits start from S$5,000 on 30-day terms, and you can order on account the same day you are approved. There is no fee to open one.
What is the difference between the counter price and the account price? The counter price is for walk-in buyers who pay on the spot by PayNow, NETS or card. The account price is for trade-account holders and is about 9% lower on most lines. For larger jobs we also fix prices for the whole project from your bill of quantities, so they do not move halfway.
Can you get items that are not on the shelf? Yes. Lines marked “2 days” are ordered in from our suppliers and reach Jalan Papan in two working days. For anything else, send a photo, a sample or the part number and the counter will usually find it within 48 hours, including discontinued fittings for upgrading works.
Do you issue GST invoices and accept purchase orders? Yes. Every delivery comes with a delivery order that quotes your PO number and site, and every invoice shows GST at 9%. Trade-account holders get one statement a month covering all their sites. We accept PayNow, GIRO, bank transfer, cheques and major cards.
What is your returns policy? Unused stock in its original packaging can come back within 30 days for full credit. Cable, pipe and timber cut to length, and special orders, cannot be returned. If anything arrives damaged or wrong, tell us within 48 hours and we replace it on the next run at no charge.
Can the lorry crane lift to an upper floor? Two of our six lorries carry a crane that lifts up to 1.5 tonnes about 10 metres from where the lorry parks, enough for a first-floor slab or a low rooftop. Book the crane with your order; it costs S$120 per drop. Higher lifts need your site's tower crane or hoist.
